CRYOTHERAPY

HOW DOES IT WORK?

What is Cryotherapy?

"Cryotherapy" (or Icing) is the intentional reduction of temperature of an injury site. Consistent & repeated application of cryotherapy, has been scientifically proven to promote healing, by reducing pain and swelling. For it to be effective, you must be able to reduce the injury site down to a temperature range of 10-13 degrees Celsius (50-55 degrees fahrenheit).

RE3 makes cryotherapy easy

RE3 delivers consistent & simultaneous cold and compression. Its flexible form ensures maximum surface area contact, providing that therapeutic relief precisely where you need it.

We make it easy to get your injury site to the right temperature, so you can get the full healing benefit of cryotherapy.

WHY COLDER IS BETTER

The human body temperature sits at around 37deg celsius (98 deg F). Inflamed joints throw off even more heat, so reducing the temperature of the injured site is no mean feat.

Put simply, if your injury site its not at 10-13 deg, your treatment is not working. Its why most ice packs are ineffective, as they are simply not cold enough.

The RE3 system is far better than your messy bags of ice, or your frozen packets of peas.
